Day 1
Arrive Cairo
Transfer to your hotel. Evening at leisure, with an optional sound-and-light show at the pyramids.

Day 2
Giza and the museum
The Great Pyramid, Khafre, Menkaure and the Sphinx, then Saqqara and Memphis. Afternoon at the Egyptian Museum.

Day 3
Cairo to Aswan — embark
Fly to Aswan. Board your cruise ship. Afternoon at the High Dam, the granite quarries and Philae temple.

Day 4
Abu Simbel and sail to Kom Ombo
Optional dawn excursion to Abu Simbel. Sail north, visiting Kom Ombo in the late afternoon.

Day 5
Edfu and sail to Luxor
The temple of Horus at Edfu, then through the Esna lock and on to Luxor.

Day 6
Luxor west bank
Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's mortuary temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Afternoon at Karnak and Luxor temples.

Day 7
Luxor to Cairo
Disembark and fly back to Cairo. Afternoon in Khan el-Khalili bazaar and Coptic Cairo.

Depart Cairo
Transfer to the airport.
