This policy explains what personal information World Destinations collects, why we need it, and what we do with it. We collect as little as we can, and we do not sell it.
What we collect
- Enquiry details — the name, contact number, email, travel dates, destination, party size, hotel preference and any special requirements you send us through the enquiry form, WhatsApp, phone or email.
- Booking details — where a booking proceeds, the additional information suppliers require: passport details, date of birth, nationality, and where relevant dietary, medical or mobility needs.
- Correspondence — the messages exchanged while planning your trip.
We do not collect payment card details through this website. Any payment is taken through a separate channel we will agree with you.
Why we need it
To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation, make the bookings you ask for, meet the requirements of airlines, hotels, insurers and consulates, and keep the records we are required to keep as a business. Sensitive information such as dietary, medical or mobility needs is used only to arrange what you have asked for, and shared only with the supplier who needs it.
Who we share it with
Only the parties necessary to deliver your trip: airlines, hotels, transport operators, ground handlers, cruise lines, insurers, visa processing centres and consulates. Some of these are outside India, and sending your details there is an unavoidable part of arranging international travel.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept while they remain useful for planning and then deleted on request. Booking records are kept for as long as required for accounting, tax and legal purposes, and then deleted.
Where it is stored
Enquiries submitted through this site are stored on the server that hosts it, and a copy is emailed to our own inbox at worlddestinations@ymail.com. Messages you send by WhatsApp are held by WhatsApp under Meta's terms as well as by us.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send passport scans or financial details through the enquiry form — we will tell you a safe way to send them when they are actually needed.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to worlddestinations@ymail.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
We do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to. If we ever start, every message will carry an unsubscribe link.
Children
This site is not directed at children. Where children travel on a booking, their details are provided by the adult making that booking.
