These terms govern the use of this website and the travel services arranged by World Destinations, Mumbai, India. Please read them before making a booking. Booking with us means you accept them on behalf of everyone travelling on that booking.
1. Who we are and what we do
World Destinations acts as a travel agent and tour organiser. We arrange transport, accommodation and related services supplied by third parties — airlines, hotels, transport operators, cruise lines, insurers and local ground handlers. Those services are supplied under the terms and conditions of those suppliers, and those terms apply to your booking alongside ours.
2. Quotations and prices
No prices are published on this website. All itineraries shown are illustrative and are quoted individually on enquiry. A quotation is based on rates, taxes, exchange rates and availability at the moment it is issued and is not held until it is confirmed in writing and the required payment is received.
Quotations may change before confirmation if airline fares, hotel rates, taxes, government levies or exchange rates move, or if the party size, dates or hotel category change. Where a price changes we will tell you before proceeding and you may withdraw the enquiry.
3. Bookings and payment
A booking is confirmed only once we issue a written confirmation and the stated deposit or full payment has cleared. Payment schedules vary by supplier — some airfares and hotel rates require immediate full payment and are non-refundable from the moment of issue. The schedule applicable to your booking will be set out in your confirmation.
4. Changes and cancellations by you
Requests to amend or cancel must be made to us in writing. Charges are determined by the relevant airline, hotel or operator and are passed on to you at cost, together with any service fee stated in your confirmation. Some bookings cannot be changed or refunded at all. Refunds, where due, are paid once we receive them from the supplier.
5. Changes and cancellations by suppliers
Airlines and hotels occasionally change schedules, aircraft, room allocations or facilities. Where a significant change is notified to us we will inform you promptly and offer the alternatives available. We are not the supplier of these services and cannot be responsible for changes made by them, but we will act on your behalf to obtain the best available outcome.
6. Passports, visas and health
You are responsible for holding a valid passport, the correct visas and any vaccinations or health documentation required for your journey. We provide visa assistance and guidance, and we prepare applications carefully, but the decision to grant or refuse a visa rests entirely with the relevant authority. We cannot guarantee any visa outcome, and visa fees are non-refundable regardless of the decision.
Where a visa is refused or documentation is incomplete and travel cannot proceed, the cancellation terms in clause 4 apply.
7. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend travel insurance for every trip, and it is compulsory for certain visas. Insurance is a contract between you and the insurer. We can arrange cover and explain the terms, but claims decisions are made by the insurer alone.
8. Circumstances beyond our control
We are not liable for failure to perform, or delay in performing, where this results from events outside our reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to weather, natural disaster, epidemic, war, civil unrest, terrorism, strike, airport or airspace closure, technical failure, road closure and acts of government.
9. Our liability
We accept responsibility for arranging the services you book with reasonable skill and care. We do not accept liability for the acts or omissions of independent suppliers, nor for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Your conduct
Suppliers may refuse to carry or accommodate anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, unlawful or seriously disruptive. Where this happens, the booking ends at that point and no refund is due.
11. Website content
Itineraries, descriptions and images on this site are indicative. Photography is licensed stock imagery used to illustrate a region or type of travel and does not represent a specific property or guaranteed view. Hotel category names such as "deluxe" are set by each property and have no standard meaning; the exact category booked will be named in your confirmation.
12. Complaints
If something goes wrong during your trip, tell us at once on +91 9167919191 so we can try to resolve it while you are still travelling. Unresolved matters should be put in writing to worlddestinations@ymail.com within 28 days of returning.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
