Day-wise itinerary

Day 1
Arrive Shimla
Drive up from Chandigarh — or take the toy train from Kalka if timings allow. Evening on the Ridge and Mall Road.

Day 2
Shimla and Kufri
Kufri for the views and the nature park, then Jakhoo temple and Christ Church back in town.

Day 3
Shimla to Manali
A full day on the road along the Sutlej and Beas, stopping at the Kullu shawl workshops. Overnight Manali.

Day 4
Solang valley
Up to Solang for paragliding, zorbing and ropeway, or on to Atal Tunnel and Sissu when the road is open.

Day 5
Manali local
Hadimba temple, Manu temple, Vashisht hot springs and the old town. Afternoon free on Mall Road.

Day 6
Manali to Chandigarh
The drive back down, or an overnight Volvo coach if you prefer to travel while sleeping.

Depart
Transfer to Chandigarh airport or railway station.
