A full day on the road along the Sutlej and Beas, stopping at the Kullu shawl workshops. Overnight Manali.

Solang valley
Up to Solang for paragliding, zorbing and ropeway, or on to Atal Tunnel and Sissu when the road is open.

Yes — every vehicle visiting Rohtang Pass for tourism needs a permit, applied for online on the Kullu district's Rohtang permit portal no more than two days ahead, with a printout carried. It costs ₹500 plus a ₹50 congestion charge for a car, only 60 petrol and 40 diesel vehicles are allowed each day, and vehicles must be under 10 years old.
