Day-wise itinerary

Day 1
Arrive Delhi
Transfer to your hotel and rest. Evening at India Gate and a drive past the government buildings.

Day 2
Delhi sightseeing
Old Delhi — Jama Masjid, a rickshaw through Chandni Chowk and Raj Ghat. Then Qutub Minar and Humayun's Tomb in the new city.

Day 3
Delhi to Agra
Drive down the expressway. Afternoon at Agra Fort, then the Taj from across the river at Mehtab Bagh for sunset.

Day 4
Taj Mahal, then Jaipur
Sunrise at the Taj Mahal, which is the only time it is quiet. Drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri and Abhaneri stepwell.

Day 5
Jaipur
Amber Fort in the morning, then the City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. Afternoon in the bazaars.

Day 6
Depart
Transfer to Jaipur airport, or drive back to Delhi for an international connection.
