Day-wise itinerary

Day 1
Arrive Kathmandu
Transfer to Thamel. Evening aarti at Pashupatinath on the Bagmati.

Day 2
Kathmandu valley
Boudhanath stupa, Swayambhunath, and Patan Durbar Square with its Newari courtyards.

Day 3
Kathmandu to Pokhara
Fly or drive to Pokhara. Afternoon boating on Phewa lake and the Tal Barahi temple.

Day 4
Sarangkot sunrise
Pre-dawn drive up to Sarangkot for the Annapurna range at first light. Later, Davis Falls, Gupteshwor cave and the Peace Pagoda.

Day 5
Return to Kathmandu
Back to the capital, with the afternoon free for Durbar Marg and the markets.

Day 6
Everest flight and depart
Optional early mountain flight along the Everest range, then transfer to the airport.
