Day-wise itinerary

Day 1
Arrive Nairobi
Transfer to your hotel. Optional afternoon at the Giraffe Centre and the Sheldrick elephant orphanage.

Day 2
Nairobi to Amboseli
Drive south to Amboseli. Afternoon game drive with Kilimanjaro on the horizon in clear weather.

Day 3
Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
Long transfer across the Rift Valley. Afternoon boat safari on Naivasha among the hippos.

Day 4
Lake Nakuru to the Mara
Morning game drive at Nakuru for rhino and flamingo, then on to the Maasai Mara. Evening drive.

Day 5
Maasai Mara
Full day in the reserve with a picnic lunch. In season, the Mara river crossings are the reason people come.

Day 6
Maasai Mara
Optional balloon safari at dawn with a champagne breakfast. Afternoon visit to a Maasai village.

Day 7
Return to Nairobi
Morning drive, then the road or a light aircraft back to Nairobi for your flight.
